HYOGO PREFECTURAL MUSEUM OF ART (078-262-0901)

Designed by the world-renowned architect Tadao Ando�C the building of Hyogo Prefectural Museum itself is known as an artwork. Exhibitions include permanent exhibitions mainly by artists who have connections with Hyogo�C and special exhibitions of famous artists and of unique concept. Not only fine arts�C but also various artistic events of cinema�C music�C fashion and classic performing arts are held.

Special Exhibition �hTadanori Yokoo: Be Adventurous!�h

Tadanori Yokoo�C one of JapanÕs leading contemporary artists�C has been active across the spectrum of painting and graphic design. This exhibition displays Yokoo creations with a keyword of �gAdventure�h which is a familiar concept but sheds light on his true nature�C as a concept. Many new works and original graphic design sketches dating from the 1960s and 1970s will be on display.
